The seedlings that travel by boat
..from our tribal community nursery, in a village where no road can reach,
our seedlings brave wind and waves for nearly an hour
— before finding their way to noteworthy reforestation projects. The voyage is long and the labor immense, yet these tender beings carry the hopes and livelihoods of the women who raise them from seed.
It is only the beginning... we will find better ways together.
Since its beginnings in 2020, this community nursery has been nurtured by the support of many organisations, each contributing in their own time and way. Though some may no longer be directly involved, their efforts have laid the essential groundwork for the community’s growth and strength.
